Almost 20% of Canadians will have a diagnosable mental health problem this year. There should be no stigma attached to having a mental illness. It may feel you are alone but you are not, we can help.

"I found it difficult to take responsibility for my life. Centre Bienvenue shows its members to be part of society. That is how to ask for things in life"

"I was quite sick for a long time, but when I came to Centre Bienvenue I found that I could mix again with people and I started to feel secure."

"I am a person not an illness"

Our role in the community:
Centre Bienvenue Inc is a support service, linked to a network of support groups on the West Island. Since opening its doors 30 years ago it has maintained a warm and friendly environment for those interested to drop in. The center is conceived and run as a meeting place for genuine belonging, membership in the true sense and a vital help to independent living.

Our skilled volunteers work with adults who are experiencing mental health problems. Our programs are designed to provide activities, which assist members in coping with every day living.
