Mission

To provide alternative experiences, by offering adapted tools and services that will contribute to the path of recovery for users of mental health services.

Founded in 1978 by nurse Beverley Morin, volunteer Lucille Arsenault, and two CLSC Pierrefonds employees, Jim Allaway and Edyth Kuper, Centre Bienvenue first took up residence at CLSC Pierrefonds and St-Thomas- à-Becket for more than 20 years. Since 2000 however, Centre Bienvenue has chosen to reside in a permanent residence to better accommodate its members from all over the island of Montreal.

Vision

That everyone can play a decisive part in their recovery toward better mental health.

This vision is actualized through our services as well as via the support we provide during passage at our center. We use the principles and concepts of recovery to guide our accompaniment of the person towards the reappropriation of their power.
